French Toast with Raspberry Reduction Sauce

Who does not like breakfast? This french toast recipe tops them all. The recipe comes from one of my favorites, Chef Irvine. I grew up watching Restaurant Impossible. Head over to Food Network to grab that recipe.

Raspberry Reduction Sauce

This raspberry reduction pairs perfectly with any breafast! Top your favorite french toast, pancakes, muffins, or even toast!

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Frozen Raspberries
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water (plus 2 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Add 2 cups rasbberries, 1/2 cup water and sugar to saucapan. Heat until sugar dissolves and add vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, add cornstarch and 2 tbsp water.
  • Add to raspberry mixture and cook till thickened. (about 5 minutes)
  • Allow mixture to cool and add remaining raspberies. Cool in fridge till cool.
