Chocolate Mousse

Rich, Velvety Chocolate Mousse

With a super simple ingredient list, this mousse is both easy and delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips semisweet
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream for melting chocolate
  • 2/3 cup Heavy Whipping Cream for whipping
  • 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Using a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips with 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream. Set aside and wait until room temperature.
  • Using a hand or stand mixer, beat the 2/3 cup of heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Beat until stiff peaks form. Place in fridge while chocolate continues to cool.
  • Once chocolate is at room temperature, fold in the whipped cream. Transfer to servinf dishes and cover. Frigerate for at least 2 hours or until ready to serve.
