Green Beans Sautéd with Mushrooms and Garlic
I am a huge vegetable fan. I love sautéd veggies, baked, fried, you name it. While I eat and enjoyed canned green beans, these sautéd beans are like candy. (If you do use canned green beans, an easy way to elevate them is to add a few pieces of meat like bacon or sausage and just cook them for 1-2 hours.)
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 25 minutes mins
Total Time 35 minutes mins
- 1 pound Fresh Green Beans
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup Mushrooms (sliced)
- 3 splashes Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
- Slayer Salt to Finish
If you like them softer, blanche the green beans. I like mine to have a crunch so I skip this step.
Chop onions, mushrooms and garlic.
Heat tablespoon of oil to pan.
Add onions garlic, green beans and mushrooms. Sauté till soft. (15-20 mins)
Add additional oil if needed and splashes of soy sauce. Add spices and taste.
Once cooked and seasoned, top with Slayer Salt for an additional kick. If you do not like heat. try our Garlic Salt instead.
