When I describe this recipe to people I struggle. "It is not brown rice like you think it is white rice flavored brown with beef." Still confused? Me too.This dish is an excellent side to pork, chicken, or beef dinners. I usually pair it with pork chops and my asparagus recipe.
Cover and let cook for 5 minutes. Add cup of beef stock and continue cooking.
Do not let rice burn, stir every few minutes. Add additional broth as needed. Cook about 25-30 minutes until rice is soft and cooked. Add seasonings to taste.
