Green Beans Sautéd with Mushrooms and Garlic
I am a huge vegetable fan. I love sautéd veggies, baked, fried, you name it. While I eat and enjoyed canned green beans, these sautéd beans are like candy. (If you do use canned green beans, an easy way to elevate them is to add a few pieces of meat like bacon or sausage and just cook them for 1-2 hours.)
Ingredients
- 1 pound Fresh Green Beans
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup Mushrooms (sliced)
- 3 splashes Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
- Slayer Salt to Finish
Instructions
- If you like them softer, blanche the green beans. I like mine to have a crunch so I skip this step.
- Chop onions, mushrooms and garlic.
- Heat tablespoon of oil to pan.
- Add onions garlic, green beans and mushrooms. Sauté till soft. (15-20 mins)
- Add additional oil if needed and splashes of soy sauce. Add spices and taste.
- Once cooked and seasoned, top with Slayer Salt for an additional kick. If you do not like heat. try our Garlic Salt instead.
